Vision & Values
When the day-to-day workplace relationship is in reasonable shape,
there is often a lack of clarity about the kind of relationship and
the quality of the workplace that the parties wish to develop for
their mutual good. Union and management leadership can develop a shared
vision, and together they can identify barriers to the achievement
of the desired relationship and jointly plan to overcome those barriers.
A shared vision and agreed-upon values can provide useful criteria
to promote constructive practices toward ever improving relationships.
